Pengaruh Fleksibilitas Kerja dan Pendapatan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Driver Gojek di Jakarta Selatan
Main Article Content
Abstract
The rapid development of application-based online transportation services has introduced a flexible work system that allows drivers greater autonomy in determining their working hours and locations. However, drivers’ income tends to fluctuate depending on order volume, incentives, and market conditions, which may affect their job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the effects of work flexibility and income on the job satisfaction of Gojek drivers in South Jakarta. A quantitative research approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 68 active Gojek drivers selected using purposive sampling. The sample size was determined using the Lemeshow formula. Data were analyzed using data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination with IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results indicate that work flexibility does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction at the 1% significance level (Sig. = 0.020 > 0.01). In contrast, income has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.01). Simultaneously, work flexibility and income significantly affect job satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.582, indicating that 58.2% of the variation in job satisfaction is explained by the two independent variables, while the remaining 41.8% is explained by other factors outside the research model. Partially, income contributes 49% and work flexibility contributes 9% to job satisfaction. These findings indicate that income plays a more substantial role than work flexibility in explaining the job satisfaction of Gojek drivers in South Jakarta.
