Pengaruh Sustainability Culture, Green Training, dan Green Career Development terhadap Employee Engagement melalui Green Organizational Identification pada Karyawan Generasi Z

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of Sustainability Culture, Green Training, and Green Career Development on Employee Engagement, with Green Organizational Identification as a mediating variable among Generation Z employees. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed. Data were collected from 125 Generation Z employees working in the Jabodetabek area using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that Sustainability Culture, Green Training, and Green Career Development have positive and significant effects on Employee Engagement. These three variables also positively and significantly influence Green Organizational Identification. Furthermore, Green Organizational Identification has a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement and serves as a significant mediator in the relationships between Sustainability Culture, Green Training, and Green Career Development and Employee Engagement. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening sustainability-oriented human resource practices and employees’ identification with organizational environmental values to enhance Employee Engagement, particularly among Generation Z employees.
