Jurnal Kausalitas: Jurnal Multidisiplin (Kausalitas) follows a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and integrity of the articles published in our journal. The process is designed to be fair, transparent, and efficient, ensuring that only high-quality research is published. The steps in our peer review process are as follows:

1. Submission of Manuscript: Authors submit their manuscripts through the online submission system of Jurnal Kausalitas. Each submission must comply with the journal's guidelines and requirements.

2. Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript meets the basic criteria in terms of format, scope, and originality. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are rejected at this stage.

3. Plagiarism Check: All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using appropriate software. Manuscripts with a high similarity index will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected if plagiarism is confirmed.

4. Assignment to an Editor: If the manuscript passes the initial screening and plagiarism check, it is assigned to an editor with expertise in the relevant field.

5. Peer Review Invitation: The assigned editor invites qualified reviewers to evaluate the manuscript. The journal uses a double-blind review process, ensuring that both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.

6. Review Process: Reviewers are given a set period to review the manuscript and provide their feedback. They assess the manuscript's originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field. Reviewers make one of the following recommendations:

  • Accept without revisions
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Accept with major revisions
  • Reject

7. Reviewers' Feedback: The editor compiles the reviewers' feedback and makes a decision based on their recommendations. This feedback is then communicated to the authors. If revisions are required, authors are given a set period to revise and resubmit their manuscript.

8. Revised Manuscript Evaluation: The revised manuscript is reviewed by the same reviewers to ensure that the necessary changes have been made. Further revisions may be requested if needed.

9. Final Decision: The editor makes the final decision on the manuscript based on the reviewers' feedback and the authors' revisions. The decision could be:

  • Accept
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Reject

10. Proofreading and Typesetting: Accepted manuscripts undergo proofreading and typesetting to ensure they meet the journal's publication standards. Authors may be asked to review and approve the final proofs.

11. Publication: The final, approved version of the manuscript is published in the upcoming issue of Jurnal Kausalitas. The published article is made available online with open access.

12. Post-Publication: Authors and readers can access the published articles freely. The journal encourages post-publication discussion and feedback to further enrich the scientific discourse.
