Publication Ethics

Jurnal Insan Berdaya: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Multidisiplin (JIB) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the guidelines and principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authorship and Originality: Authors submitting manuscripts to JIB must ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must be provided, and all contributors who have significantly contributed to the research must be listed as authors.

Plagiarism and Duplicate Submission: JIB does not tolerate plagiarism or redundant publication. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism, and submissions must not be concurrently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Peer Review Process: All manuscripts submitted to JIB undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the validity, significance, and originality of the research presented. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the subject matter and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of manuscripts.

Conflicts of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the research or its interpretation. Conflicts of interest may include financial, personal, or professional relationships that could potentially bias the work.

Ethical Treatment of Subjects: Research involving human subjects or animals must comply with ethical standards and regulations. Authors must provide evidence of ethical approval for studies involving human participants and ensure that informed consent has been obtained.

Data Access and Retention: Authors are encouraged to provide access to the data supporting their research findings, where applicable, and retain such data for a reasonable period after publication to allow for verification and reproducibility.

Corrections and Retractions: JIB adheres to the COPE guidelines for correcting errors or retracting articles when necessary. Corrections are issued promptly if errors are identified, and retractions are reserved for cases of serious ethical violations or data fabrication.

Open Access Policy: JIB provides immediate open access to its content, ensuring that research findings are freely available to the global academic community, promoting greater knowledge sharing and dissemination.
